On May 21st Riga will host the Eastern Partnership Business Forum in Riga, devoted to cooperation across borders, a key even within the framework of Latvia’s presidency in the Council of the European Union. President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski will participate as a representative of the Employers Group of the European Economic and Social Committee.
The meeting will gather social partners and representatives of governments of Eastern Partnership states and other countries in the region, as well as European commissioners and representatives of international organizations.
Issues to be discussed include: access to financing, transport and infrastructure and strengthening the economic cooperation between the EU and Eastern Partnership.
The Forum is also an opportunity for business to business meetings which will help find new partners and gain new contacts.
Apart from that the Latvian Trade and Industry Chamber and the EESC Employers’ Group delegation will organize a debate on challenges facing the European economy on the day before the forum.
