On May 13-16th, a Polish business mission visited Israel. The main event was the economic forum, organized by Employers of Poland and the Manufacturers’ Association of Israel together with the Polish embassy in Tel Aviv. The forum, held on June 13th, and the matchmaking and B2B session afterwards gathered over 200 Polish and Israeli businessmen. It was the biggest Polish business delegation to Israel in the 25 years of renewed economic relations between the countries.
The forum, and the mission in general, focused on innovation and the transfer of technologies form science to business. Where should one look for inspiration and good practices in this regard, if not in Israel – a world leader in innovation and implementation of new solutions in practically all sector of the economy. In his opening speech, President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski emphasized that such a strong representation of Polish entrepreneurs was a clear signal that they want to utilize state of the art solutions and are looking for the best offers on the market.
President of the Manufacturers Association of Israel Shraga Brosh informed that following talks with the President of Employers of Poland, a revisit of the Israeli delegation in Poland had been set for April 2016. Minister of Foreign Affairs Grzegorz Schetyna expressed his satisfaction that an official visit on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of re-establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Israel could also serve as a platform for developing contacts for so many representatives of business and science from both countries.
