In Calgary and Toronto, from October 9th-10th, was held the Economic Summit that was attended by entrepreneurs from Canada and Poland. The initiators, and at the same time the organizers, of the project were the Employers of Poland and the Canadian Employers Council.
- The Canadian-Polish Economic Summit was an event without precedent because among others the entrepreneurs from both countries had met for the first time for over 65 years - emphasized the importance of the event Andrzej Malinowski, the President of Poland.
The Economic Summit was inaugurated by the Round-Table Talks dedicated to power industry. The Wednesday's Economic Summit Canada-Poland Business Summit was attended by senior representatives of the administration of Polish government from the departments of: economy, the Treasury and environment, as well as business representatives from Poland and Canada.
- We decided to organize a trade mission to Canada not without reason - because the country had been recognized by the Ministry of Economy as one of the five most promising markets for our country - noted in his speech Andrzej Malinowski, the President of Poland.
