In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



KPMG - Survey on economic entities in the context of Expo Łódź 2022


We would like to invite you to participate in a survey prepared by KPMG in order to prepare the inclusion of economic entities in the organization of Expo International 2022 in Łódź.


The survey will take ca. 10 minutes to complete – it’s results will be anonymous and presented as aggregated statistical figures. We will remind you of the survey within 5 days of it being sent.


Poland and the City of Łódź intend to apply for the organization of EXPO International in 2022. EXPO is the biggest international exhibit presenting the cultural, scientific and technological achievements and heritage of the world’s nations. The term “EXPO” applies to two kinds of exhibitions -  World Expo, a global exhibitions, and International Expo – thematic ones.


The main theme of the exhibition will be the systemic revitalization of urban areas. Revitalization is a coordinated, long-term process of social, economic, spatial and technical change, the objective of which is to give the area in question new functional qualities and create condition for further growth. Economic entities from a wide range of sectors can participate in revitalization.


The main attraction of the exhibit are pavilions prepared by countries, international organizations, NGOs, as well as commercial participants. The Expo is accompanied by a culture and entertainment program aimed at showcasing the host city as a tourist destination through organizing events such as concerts, sporting events etc. Some of these events are to be organized by Expo itself, others by exhibitors.


The aim of the survey is to:

·       identify industries, sectors and groups of entities interested in participating,

·       analyze the benefits of participation,

·       analyze preferences with regards to forms of contact.


The survey was prepared by KPMG which supports the city of Łódź in its efforts to be selected as the organizer, a.o. by elaborating a program for the inclusion of economic entities.
