Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

The Healthcare Forum in Krynica to be held next week

Within the framework of the  Economic Forum in Krynica, which will be held on September 8-10th, the VI edition of the Healthcare Forum will take place. For the third time Employers of Poland are a partner of the event. Andrzej Mądrala PhD, Vicepresident of Employers of Poland, is the Chairman of the Program Council of the Forum.

As is the case every year, participants will discuss the most pressing issues related to the healthcare system and present solutions maximizing the system’s efficiency. Representatives and members of Employers of Poland will address topics of key importance.

Andrzej Mądrala will moderate a panel presenting the problems of Polish healthcare from the patients’ perspective, including the quality of services and standards of attitude towards patients.

Employers of Poland would also like to initiate debate on “Pay-for-Performance” a system of financing medical services based on effects rather than the fact that they were provided alone.

A panel on additional health insurance will provide an opportunity for LUX MED Group to explore effective ways of acquiring additional funds to finance medical services.

The Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Companies INFARMA is a partner of a panel on the value of innovative medicine for the development of science and economy.

The „Zdrowe Zdrowie” („Healthy Health”) Platform and Pharmaceutic Platform, working in Employers of Poland, have been actively involved in the works of the Forum. Panelists include experts and representatives of the Organization such as Anna Rulkiewicz, Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, Agnieszka Szpara, Robert Mołdach and Grzegorz Ziemniak.

We hope that this year the voice of experts will be given particular attention – seen that we are nearing elections. After all, the winning party will have to take responsibility for reforming the healthcare system.
