Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Vicepresident of Employers of Poland Iwona Sroka appointed Ambassador of Equality in Business

As part of the "Equality in business” project, a number of Ambassadors of Equality in Business have been appointed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, with a view to coordinating the efforts and popularizing good practices in this regard. Ambassadors include individuals, institutions and companies who promote gender equality in access to promotions. Iwona Sroka has been appointed an ambassador on behalf of Employers of Poland.

Iwona Sroka PhD is the Chairwoman of the Central Securities Deposit of Poland (KDPW) and KDPW_CCP, a member of European Central Securities Depositories Association and the Payment System Council by the National Bank of Poland. At Employers of Poland, apart from being the Vicepresident, she is also the Chairwoman of the Financial Platform. She is an assistant professor at the Chair of National Economy at the Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University.

The main objective of establishing a group of ambassadors is to popularize new management standards and to exchange information and experiences regarding the promotion of gender equality in Polish companies and institutions. We hope that this results in a lasting change of attitudes among the management and, in turn, improve the professional situation of women, particularly when it comes to access to higher management posts.
